A Greek-Brazilian Orthodox Wedding — Charbel & Magda in Land O’ Lakes, FL

LAND O’ LAKES, Fla. — What does an Orthodox wedding in rural Florida — with a Greek groom and a Brazilian bride — actually look like? Charbel and Magda showed us, and it was beautiful. We could hardly believe what a vision Magda was as she stepped out of the car (though we did hope she’d make it indoors soon — it was a scorching summer day!). Saint Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church in Land O’ Lakes hosted the ceremony, as friends and family gathered to celebrate the start of this new family.

First Dance & Cake Cutting

From the Church to the Reception

From there, everyone headed to Acropolis Greek Taverna in St. Petersburg for dancing, cake-cutting, and a night of festivities — a fitting nod to the groom’s Greek heritage, with all the food, music, and energy that comes with it.

Capturing the Day, Cinematically

It was a doubly exciting day for us. We’re always adding camera angles to our video shoots, chasing that cinematic-but-lifelike effect — we want you to feel like you’re right there, like another guest at the celebration. We never forget that these films and photos will be watched for generations to come, so every angle matters.

This wedding also let us put our new 2–8 hour affordable packages into practice. Our usual all-day coverage can run 12 hours or more and produce a truly epic amount of content — but we love being available for couples of every budget and every kind of celebration. Everyone is welcome, and we fit in a lot!
