An Elegant Wedding at Forsyth Country Club — Winston-Salem, NC

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Jon and I had the honor of filming and photographing Marina & Alejandro’s wedding. For them, it was a meaningful ceremony surrounded by friends and family, followed by a festive reception at Forsyth Country Club in Winston-Salem, NC — an elegant setting that matched the warmth of the day.

“Vivir Mi Vida” — Live My Life

For their Highlights film, we set the mood to “Vivir Mi Vida” — “Live My Life.” Its lyrics are all about joy, laughter, dancing, and living life to the fullest — a wonderful message in this day and age, and the perfect note for Marina and Alejandro’s celebration.

GREENSBORO, NC – ‘Daniel,
Derrick and I absolutely LOVE the wedding trailer. We were on our way to dinner in Hawaii when we received the email and the internet was so slow it took about an hour for the video to boot up, but we were not going anywhere until we saw the video and it was SSSSOOOOO worth it!!!

Our family friends and even strangers have been blown away at how professional this wedding preview looks. I had no idea that John Legend had a remix to that song but it fit so perfectly. The video brings me to tear every time I watch it and the photos are just as breathtaking. I see what you meant when you said the video means a lot more and I so glad we did the additional time.

I would/have recommended you to everyone I know! I just can’t stop looking at the video and pics.’

Trailer

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Anahi & Cesar were married in beautiful Tallahasse Florida in front of their friends and family. What a day that was! I got to know them and their families and experience what a close family bond they have.

Their familes came together from Bolivia and Puerto Rico to be part of this day. When the forecast did not want to cooperate with the reception and literally rain poured all over the event their families came together and made their day work!

It was endearing to see the close connection and the wanting to help out in any way to make their day a special one and the success of their work and commitment in spite of the rain and the weather. Their day became much more personal as they got to experience the happiness of both their families because of their joining together. I see many more special days in ahead of them and I am glad they chose me to document this very special moment in their lives together.

WILMINGTON, NC – Weinan and JP were married in Wilmington NC in a gorgeous sunny day. They met at college while studying for their careers and developed a very visible connection with each other soon after. While at the ocean JP proposed to Weinan with fireworks which made the moment that much more special.

Their engagement photos were taken at the place they met in NCSU in Raleigh NC. You can see that here. On their day they did a traditional chinese tea ceremony where the two families come together to celebrate their union with tea. I was there to document their day from 10am to 10pm and by the end of the day everyone had had a good time.

Here’s a little preview of their day. Enjoy!
