A Sun-Soaked Wedding at the Millennium Center โ€” Winston-Salem, NC

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. โ€” What an amazing day in Winston-Salem! The sun was out and so were everyone’s hearts for the union of Brittany and Theo. You could genuinely feel the powerful connection between them, and we were so happy to help preserve it forever. Big thanks to the families and friends there, and to the staff of the beautiful Millennium Center for treating us so well and being game for everything we had in mind โ€” including a few “takes” with the drone for the whole wedding party.

Finding the Music in Post

Back home, as we started post-processing the video and photos, the song “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” kept haunting us โ€” even though it was never played at the wedding. Digging around, we found a rare gem: a recent cover by singer Lizz Wright with a quiet sublimity to it. Paired with a second, more upbeat version, it gave us exactly the mood we wanted for their Highlights Film โ€” and had us feeling the magic all over again.
