Jake & Rayna’s Beachfront Wedding at the DoubleTree — Redington Beach, FL

REDINGTON BEACH, Fla. — Jake & Rayna were married right on Redington Beach, in front of the DoubleTree Beach Resort, on September 3rd, 2022. One of the parents first reached out to me because their videographer had canceled at the last minute — and by good fortune, I was available that very weekend. The bride and groom got ready in their suites alongside their families as the day began.

The Ceremony

The ceremony took place outdoors, with the Gulf as the backdrop — rolling waves, bright sun, and that warm Florida beach air. Rayna was walked down the aisle by her father as Jake waited for her at the front. It was a ceremony full of tears, laughter, and music, and the couple were married to some of their favorite songs — the kind of personal touch that makes a beach wedding feel truly theirs.

The Reception

The celebration moved inside to the hotel’s venue, where the groom’s mother and the bride’s sister raised heartfelt toasts. So many beautiful moments unfolded that night, and I’m grateful they trusted me to capture every one of them on film.

Honestly, I feel fortunate I happened to be free the weekend they called — otherwise these moments might never have been captured at all. Photos can only hold so much; video captures everything: the sound, the movement, the emotion of the day as it actually happened.
